I have nobody to take pictures of my new dioramas. I am hoping to hear from a couple people. So, I’m just putting my thoughts about that out here on the Remembering Persia site…

I invited Susan Mahjoori, a jewelry specialist, to visit the gallery. She visited the gallery last Friday, 29th of Oct. I expected her to give me ideas for making typical Iranian jewelries.
One of the dioramas is made to show Moshiroddoleh Bazzar in Shiraz which has six stores. One of the stores will display the traditional jewelry from Iran. I have been gathering information about traditional jewelry and this is the reason that I have been trying to invite artists to get feed back about jewelry making.
On Tuesday, the 27th of October, Scott and Kris Sayre from Sandbox Studios / Museum 411 and Gary McLean, professor at the University of Minnesota visited the gallery. They believe that my dioramas fit the standards of the museums and suggested that I prepare a proposal for showing my gallery via DVD. Gary also encouraged me to improve on the photography. I agree that some of these dioramas need new photography — some because they have been updated quite a bit. I’m already quite happy with the photography of Holy Place, Persian Mosque, Winter Solstice, and Traditional Dining-room.
Today my daughter’s in laws, visited the gallery. Libby Bauman and her cousin from California and her mother spend two hours, reading all the articles and asking about all the details. Candy took pictures of all dioramas and sent them to me. This is one of the pictures from that day.
Last night an old friend visited the gallery and she was amazed by the improvement of the art work. “It is totally different from what I saw before”.
