Hi Niccu: Your artwork is absolutely delightful! I feel as if I read through a picture book. I especially enjoyed reading about all your fond memories of your grandmother. I had the wonderful experience of living with my grandparents as a teenager, and still cherish the memories to this day. I am excited to see your original artwork.

Dear Niccu,
Your memories and observations are very deep. For me a younger generation Iranian girl, it is hard to see the sadness that women like you and many other Persian women like yourself have when thinking back about their cultural losses. But it is also amazing to see how the spirits of women like yourself has evolved to be able to (in retrospect) see the shortcomings of that culture in regard to women. I think women like yourself are incredible survivors. Your art tells us of times lost to us all. It also reflects nuances of our culture that are not understood by all. Seeing our peoples’ obsession with the west (within the upper classes), the shallowness observant, and I think to this day not many of our women can admit to this shortcoming they may have had.
Anyway I enjoyed looking at your art work. I wish you success and happiness.

Your miniatures are absolutely wonderful, bringing a flood of loving memories for Iran back into my heart and mind… I never have forgotten all the wonderful people, places and things.

Just finished visiting your gallery. How beautiful! Lived in Iran for five years as a teacher while married to an Iranian man. Even though I am an American, I can still relate to your fond memories of Iran. As a matter of fact, if you can believe this, I sometimes get homesick for Iran. The country certainly made a deep impression on me.
I wanted to ask you if there is any way I can purchase the doll of your grandmother? There were a few other little people and designs I liked also. The one of the Iranian women weaving the rug, that especially touched my heart.
Thank you for your memorable gallery. I also placed your website in my favorite places in my computer so I can look at it daily.
